Megamind Player's interface is khaki colored and quite large, making it easy to locate controls. It's also easy to notice where features are lacking. While you can minimize the playlist area of the interface, it can't be resized, which makes Megamind Player's large interface a bit of a frustration for those who want something smaller. During testing, it was also impossible to even move Megamind Player around on the desktop at all; it was simply stuck in a fixed position, which decreased its usability substantially.
At the very least, you have the option between standard and full-screen when it comes to viewing choices. Megamind Player also comes with basic controls like a shuffle feature and volume slider. For someone completely new to media players who might not want to browse around on their computer or desktop at the same time, Megamind Player is a competent choice. For everyone else, it falls a little short.
Beginning computer users will appreciate Megamind Player's simplicity, but advanced users should look elsewhere for more customizable media players.
