DC Universe Online is a multiplayer game based on all the super characters of DC Comics and set in Gotham City. Recently, the developers have launched a free version although there are subscription models available.
In the world of DC Comics you can play characters such as Superman, Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman and many more. Of course, all are locked into a struggle into a battle between good and evil in the quest to save mankind.
When you start the game, you can choose whether to save the world as a superhero or destroy it as a super villain. At the beginning of DC Universe Online, you must create your character which includes the ability to configure how he or she looks and the super powers they have.
The great thing is that you're playing against other human competitors in PvP mode or you can choose to collaborate with them in CSR mode. As you progress through the game, you're awarded points and money for defeating opponents and completing missions. Although you can play DC Universe Online for free, if you upgrade to the subscription model, you can unlock extra memory slots to play as multiple characters etc.
DC Universe Online is a dream game for any big DC Comics fan.
